what sort of roles do you usually coach?

I coach CEOs and COOs, business owners, senior leaders and rising talent. The people that I connect with best and who get the best results are those with a bias for action.

what sort of businesses do you work with?

I predominantly work with unique and creative business that are challenging the way things are done in their industry. Businesses that are values based, growing fast, growing organically and put people at the forefront of what they do.

what sort of people do you work with

I’m a naturally quite rebellious person and those tend to be the kind of people I work best with. I like people who push boundaries and challenge what’s gone before. I work well with people who aren’t afraid to go out and give it a go. That said, humility, integrity and trust are core values for me. I like people who want to work in the right way too.

how many sessions do you typically recommend?

A big part of the value of coaching is in the relationship we build together and the trust we forge. I would usually recommend a minimum of 6 sessions or 4 if you are having them as part of a larger leadership development programme.

how much does it cost

Coaching programmes start at £5000 for 3 months.

Do you follow up after the sessions

I believe that the responsibility for taking action between sessions is with you and that’s where the best results come from. Personal responsibility is a huge part of the way I work.

how do you work?

My personal coaching style is based on traditional trained coaching techniques informed by a broad and varied background in senior leadership. I will always hold you as the best person to know the answers to your own challenges and I will aim to help you find these answers as quickly as possible. However, if I think that I can see something that you can’t see or that you need to hear an alternative perspective or challenge, I will offer that to you.

Your growth and development are my primary agenda so I may challenge you or ask you difficult questions to help you reach your goals. It is always your choice how you respond and what actions you take.

what training have you had?

I have a postgraduate diploma in Coaching and Behavioural change from Henley Business School. I also have an Advanced Coaching Expertise qualification from Thomas Preston Associates. I combine this with 7 years of coaching experience.

are you just a coach or do you have business experience?

I have 12 years experience working in senior roles in blue chip consumer good companies. I spent a lot of time in commercially aligned operations roles, most recently as Supply Chain Director. I had a reputation for getting things done and developing talent.

do you do team coaching

Yes! I love coaching teams just as much as my 1:1 work and I often combine the two. How you function as a leadership team can have such an impact on the culture of your business overall and I love to work with you to find the best ways of working to your strengths as a team.

do you do business partner coaching

You mean marriage counselling for business partners?! Yes! I do quite a lot of this actually. It’s been a surprisingly big area for my business and I’ve helped lots of partnerships work more effectively together.
